Dr. Daniel Thomas Wise, made the decision to pursue becoming a Doctor of Chiropractic after an automobile accident in his early 20s left him in extreme back and leg pain, which made it nearly impossible to walk and left him practically paralyzed. After unsuccessful treatment by traditional medical healthcare providers —including 5 months of intensive physical therapy—Dr. Wise was told the pain was “all in his head” and to “seek counseling” to cope with the trauma. A friend’s chiropractor cured him in a very short time. It was a life altering experience that had a lasting impact on his future and helped shape who he is today.
